Front Anti-Roll-Bar (ARB) Bush

Ford Part 84 AB 5484 AA (Image 2) - 22mm

The part listed on many online sources, including TVR-Parts' own website is actually
86 AB 5484 AA (example ref part Febi Bilstein No. 14527)- which has the projection at the rear - (image 3, even though the site's web images may show otherwise). If this part is purchased, some modification will be required to allow it to fit between the chassis
and ARB bracket (ie. removal of the hatched profile shown in image 4). Once removed, the finished rear profile should look similar to Image 5.

Radtec aluminium radiator

Supplied by ACT - Size 375 x 795mm.

A small but important point - when installing radiators, ensure that the correct rubber grommets and mounts are fitted. Mid (upper) mounts are the bobbin (cotton reel) type and, dependent on rad design, are appx 18mm deep, 25mmm diameter with equal 17mm M8 threads each side. The rubber should not  be overly stiff (and many aftermarket bobbins have very little give) which may place excessive stress on the rad and result in potential fracture s/leaks. The bobbin should be firm enough to give good support but be soft enough to absorb the day to day road vibrations and compensate for any twisting / movement of the fibreglass body. The nuts and washers which secure the radiator onto the bobbins should not be overly tightened (onto the slotted hole of the rad upper bracket) to allow for expansion of the radiator when hot.
The lower grommets which fix to the radiators bottom pegs are appx 10mm ID x 25mm outer diameter x 13mm deep (Image 2). Again this will be dependent on the overall radiator size. It goes without saying that the grommets should be larger than the holes in the fibreglass radiator bay. Those sold at TVR Parts are barely 18mmm diam x 11mm deep and will fall straight through the holes - ie zero use! Source your own grommets subject to rad design and size of holes in the fiberglass - plenty online sources.

Interior

Door Jamb reflectors

Jaguar XJ6. Marked 'BRYCREST' & 'ENGLAND' fixed with two No.6 self tappers
2 no. required

These reflectors conceal a door card fixing screw (Image 2). The protruding head of this screw (however minor) can press against the flush back of the reflector. If the reflector screws are tightened too much, stresses over time can cause the aged plastic to break -  (Image 3).

Several alloy options are available from various private and TVR parts vendors.

Alternatively - DIY carbon fibre replacements can be fabricated, utilising the red plastic reflector from the original assembly. A cut-out in the carbon fiber - forming a niche to accommodate the head of the door card fixing screw - will give a much improved 'flush' fit.
